On September 20, 2025, the Greater Annapolis Ballet hosted: AFFSP Out of Darkness Walk
This event, held at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis is a walk to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention.

Canty was memorialized at the event with his face on the jumbotron for all to see and remember.

Canty supported the Dirty Terps Celebrity Golf Classic every year. He was integral in finding supporters, sponsors and pitching outlandish ideas to make the event over the top to his buddies who organize it.
His involvement was such that he was strategically placed on the cover page of the organizations website.
